There have been a couple of my sculptures over the years that have lent themselves to being digitally scanned and re-modelled into jewellery.

Barn Owl 2013 (now sold out) was the first of my sculptures that I made into a piece of jewellery. My thought was that the shape of the sculpture, particularly the bird’s wings, would work well as a ring. I researched jewellery and jewellery-making, and Owl Ring 2013 was made. This piece is made to order in 18 carat gold and sits beautifully on the finger.

Jurassic Ammonite Pendant 2023 is available in 18 carat gold or sterling silver. This pendant was digitally scanned down from my sculpture Ammonite Jurassic Cracked 2018, now sold out in bronze, but available in stainless steel. (We don’t sell the pendant with a chain, as we felt that people would be happier choosing their own length and style to suit them.)

I am sure more sculptures will lend themselves well to making jewellery in the future, and this small collection will grow over time. Watch this space!
