Back at RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2021 September 13, 2021

It’s back! And for the first time in its 108 year history, this year RHS Chelsea Flower Show will be taking place in September. Usually the world-famous show is in May, but because of the Covid pandemic, things have been a little different. Last year, the show went online, as it did again in May this year. Happily though, it is back in a few weeks in all its actual glory! It will be so interesting to see how the planting and gardens look at this different time of year, rather than in the spring.

Once again, I am generously sponsored by Knight Frank. Their support makes it possible to have the marvellous team at Bowles and Wyer design and build my stand. Their design looks great. I can’t wait to see how it will all look with my sculptures in place. We’ve been busy getting everything ready as you can see from the video below.

I will be showing a lot of new sculptures at Chelsea. It is always a great opportunity to see my new work without having to wait for my next solo gallery exhibition. I’m particularly excited to see what people think of my life size Lion and Lioness! Also on display, will be my new Turtles sculpture. There will also be a few old favourites, including my Ammonites and Roe Deer.

I’m looking forward to a change of scenery. Going from life in my country studio to being out and about in London will be a shock to the system! It will be great to catch up with collectors again and see old friends and new faces. Do drop by the stand and say hello – we are in the usual place at RHW/292.

A Snowy Start to 2021 and New Sculptures

The year got off to a snowy start! I quite enjoy a good sprinkling of the white stuff. It turns the garden into a playground for a while! I also enjoy how it casts my sculptures in a new light, transforming the way they look outdoors. We had some fun trying to make snow sculptures too.
